The Trauma Masterminds Group is directed by Albert D. Grundy who has compiled a group of professionals who met while speaking about trauma at Harvard University. This group is dedicated to building a network of trauma professionals across the United States that include many different types of trauma treatment. Albert D. Grundy is a retired law enforcement officer-trainer who was awarded the State of Ohio Medal of Valor for his heroic actions during a bank robbery and a hostage situation in 1996. He went on to experience significant PTSD symptoms for 10 years, living in isolation until he met his future wife who happened to be a therapist. His primary goal is to gather trauma specialists to share their knowledge and expertise in their fields and to improve trauma treatment across the country.
